We collect information necessary to process applications, carry out inspections, and issue certifications for the conversion, calibration, and maintenance of petrol/diesel powered vehicles to gas-powered systems including CNG, LPG, and LNG.

Organizational information: workshop name, business address, branch details, facility descriptions and equipment lists.
Personnel information: names, roles (mechanic, welder, electrician, ICT/calibration specialist, quality control), qualifications, and competency certificates.
Technical and safety information: lists of tools, safety installations (fire extinguishers, sand buckets), inspection reports.
Payment information: payment records for the registration fee processed via Remita (transaction IDs and receipts). We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used only for purposes related to workshop approval and regulation:

Assessing eligibility and processing registrations and revalidations
Scheduling and carrying out inspections and site visits
Issuing certificates and maintaining certification records
Communicating guidelines, inspection findings, deficiency statements, and regulatory updates

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including secure servers, access controls, and regular monitoring. However, no system is completely secure; we will take prompt action in the event of a confirmed data breach.

6. Data Retention

Records are retained as long as necessary to meet regulatory needs, certification cycles, and legal obligations. Information linked to expired or revoked certificates may be archived for documentation.

Where applicable, you may request access to your information, correction of inaccuracies, or updates to personnel and facility details. Requests should be submitted through the official contact channels below.

8. Using the Registration Portal

By using the NADDC registration portal you confirm that the information you submit is accurate. Note that each branch of a workshop must register separately and will be treated as an independent entity for certification purposes.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, technology, or our operations. Updated policies will be posted on the portal with an updated "Last updated" date.
